Privacy Information Notice – GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679, Art. 13)
Dear Guest,
In accordance with European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), House of Gio informs you that your personal data are processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, exclusively for legitimate purposes and in full respect of your privacy and rights.
Personal data are processed both manually and by electronic means for the following purposes:
1. Booking and Hospitality Services
To manage and confirm reservations and to provide the requested accommodation and related services. This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract and does not require consent, unless special categories of data are provided. Failure to provide the required data will make it impossible to complete the booking or deliver the services.
2. Public Security Obligations
In compliance with Italian Public Safety Law (Art. 109, Royal Decree no. 773/1931 and Ministerial Decree of 7 January 2013), guest identification data must be communicated to the competent authorities. This processing is mandatory and does not require consent. Failure to provide such data will prevent the stay.
3. Administrative, Accounting, and Tax Compliance
Data are processed to fulfill legal and fiscal obligations. Such processing is mandatory and data are retained for the period required by law (generally 10 years or longer in case of audits).
4. Facilitated Future Stays
With your consent, your data may be stored for up to 10 years from your last stay in order to speed up future check-in procedures. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Guest Communications During the Stay
With your consent, we may process your data to deliver messages or phone calls during your stay. This consent may be revoked at any time.
Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

House of Gio informa che i dati personali sono trattati in modo lecito, corretto e trasparente, esclusivamente per finalità legittime e nel pieno rispetto della riservatezza e dei diritti dell’interessato.
I dati sono trattati, con strumenti manuali e informatici, per le seguenti finalità:
1. Prenotazione e Servizi di Ospitalità
Gestione e conferma delle prenotazioni ed erogazione dei servizi richiesti. Il trattamento è necessario all’esecuzione del contratto e non richiede consenso, salvo per categorie particolari di dati. Il mancato conferimento rende impossibile la prestazione dei servizi.
2. Obblighi di Pubblica Sicurezza
In conformità all’art. 109 T.U.L.P.S. e al D.M. 7 gennaio 2013, i dati identificativi degli ospiti devono essere comunicati alle Autorità competenti. Il conferimento è obbligatorio.
3. Adempimenti Amministrativi e Fiscali
Trattamento necessario per obblighi contabili e tributari, con conservazione per i termini di legge (generalmente 10 anni).
4. Semplificazione di Futuri Soggiorni
Con consenso, i dati possono essere conservati fino a 10 anni per agevolare futuri check-in. Il consenso è revocabile in qualsiasi momento.
5. Comunicazioni Durante il Soggiorno
Con consenso, i dati possono essere utilizzati per la gestione di messaggi e telefonate durante il soggiorno.
L’interessato può esercitare i diritti previsti dagli artt. 15-22 GDPR e presentare reclamo al Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
